Hot on the heels of announcing full four-year scholarships for two students of African-American or Latinx descent at Brooklyn’s Pratt Institute, Balenciaga shares a selection of images from its Fall 2019 campaign. The luxury fashion house tapped artist Jean-Pierre Attal to photograph the project, which served as his first-ever fashion campaign.
The editorial finds Attal channeling his sociological investigation-like series, “Paysages Ethnographiques,” showcasing individuals you would generally find in cosmopolitan scenes, here wandering throughout cosmic deserts in Morocco and Lanzarote.
